This wonderful example of a V12 Jaguar E-Type boasts "originality" having had only one owner from new and covering less than 30,000 miles. Owned by the same gentleman,Mr John English, throughout its life; this exceptional car is being sold for the first time since it was purchased in 1973.
Loved and cherished by Mr English and his family, the E-Type was nicknamed the "Mistress" and played a major part in their lives, having spent many happy weekends together in the car.
The E-type participated in annual Jaguar Driver & Enthusiast events and although they never won, there was a year when the car won ‘best non-concours car.’ As you can imagine this was a sheer delight for all the family. (Photographs can be seen with the Winning Trophy.)
The E-Type is finished in ‘signal red’ and comes with numerous bills and a history file.
The car has been known to our sister company M&C Wilkinson Limited all of its life and has been mechanically maintained by them.
