The essentials

This superb example of an FIA Appendix K 3.4 litre MK 1 Saloon was part of the Allen Lloyd collection and was in the process of being prepared when it was acquired by M & C Wilkinson Ltd, who completed the preparation to full FIA race specification. Diane Osborne subsequently purchased the car and has competed for numerous seasons in the JCC and HRDC Touring car races with much success. In 2017 she received the spirit of Jaguar award at the Jaguar Classic Challenge annual awards, and in 2016 she won her class at Le Mans most notably.

The 3.4 litre engine with legal B-Type cylinder head and twin 2” SU carburettors was built by Sigma Engineering to his full race specification. The gearbox is an all syncro Jaguar unit with a competition clutch. The rear axle is to full Sayer race specification and rear and front suspension are to full race specification.

The radiator is aluminium and uses all silicone hoses. The fuel system is fully Aeroquip and has new pump and tank. The exhaust system in stainless steel straight through and the brakes are to FIA specification using MK9 front brake discs and callipers. The interior of the car is fully instrumented with new harnesses and full roll cage. The car complies with HRDC specification booklet and has also got 10 year HTP, with 5 years before renewal.
