The essentials
This super example of an Austin Healey MK 1 Sprite is an absolute joy to drive.
The car was totally rebuilt in the mid-1990's and it remains in excellent condition. The car is completely standard throughout (ie. 948cc engine with twin SU's, drum brakes all round, original - style ignition, all steel bonnet.) The only non-standard items are the Motolita steering wheel (15 inch, in the pattern of the works "Derrington" steering wheels) and Radial tyres rather than cross-piles. The paintwork is good and the interior is clean, fresh and completely sound. Mechanically the car is in excellent shape and drives well.
As well as a dedicated sill-jack, the Sprite comes with full weather equipment of hood, tonneau cover and side screens. All are in good working order and the hood frame mechanism works perfectly.
Now available for viewing at our premises, the vehicle is sold with the owner's manual, along with a photographic record of the rebuild and various documentation.
